Miss Rodeo Oregon 2025 Mary Olney!

Hello Oregon Rodeo Family!

April has been an exciting and busy month full of unforgettable memories, and I’m so excited to share what I’ve been up to!

One of the biggest highlights this month was picking up my gorgeous new aluminum trailer, generously sponsored by KMR Trailers in Redmond, Oregon. I’m incredibly thankful to have them on board as sponsors this year—it means the world to have their support, and I can’t wait to travel safely and in style all season long!

I also had the chance to help set up for Oregon’s first PRCA rodeo of the year—the High Desert Stampede. It was a fantastic weekend filled with sponsor visits, volunteering at the Rascal Rodeo, and carrying sponsor flags in the arena. Being part of such an incredible rodeo family is always a blessing.

Later in the month, I attended the Miss Rodeo Oregon Clinic, which was packed with learning, laughs, and unforgettable memories. Spending time with Katie, Fallyn, and the other attendees made it even more special—we’re all in this journey together, and I’m so grateful for the friendships and knowledge gained.

Another special moment was attending the Crooked River Round Up Coronation, where I had the honor of crowning the 2025 Queen, Corley Holliday. It was a beautiful evening filled with celebration, community, and the spirit of rodeo.

As we step into May, I’m looking forward to even more adventures on the road, more rodeos, and more opportunities to represent this incredible sport and state. Thank you all for your continued support—I couldn’t do this without you!

See you down the rodeo trail!

With gratitude,

Miss Rodeo Oregon 2025

Mary M. Olney

Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon 2025 Katie Kilcullen!

Hello everyone! The month of April was full of lasts and firsts…

I had my very last district OHSET meet of my high school career. It was definitely bittersweet. Our team was very successful qualifying for state in working pairs and in-hand obstacle relay while I also qualified in in-hand trail and saddle seat!

On Saturday night the senior night commenced. I was overwhelmed with love from my family and friends; it made for the perfect night!

And for the first time ever, I had the pleasure of hosting/attending the 2025 Miss Rodeo Oregon clinic!!! I do not have enough amazing things to say about the weekend. We titleholders received the best knowledge and guidance. My junior and I even got a private horsemanship lesson with Emma! It was incredibly successful with approximately 70 girls attending from all over Oregon and even some out of state! The clinic is by far one of the highlights of my time so far as a title holder.

To finish off the month, I had my first official photo shoot with my custom Denise Stringfellow chaps! I am so grateful for Hot Flash Photography for sponsoring this incredible photo shoot!!!

Gratefully,

2025 Miss Teen Rodeo Oregon Katie Kilcullen

My two favorite photos from the photo shoot!

Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon 2025 Fallyn Plume!

A lot of fun things kicked off for me in April.
I attended the Miss Rodeo Oregon Clinic and had a great time meeting all the girls and getting to know the 2024 Miss Rodeo America, Emma Cameron. She was incredible and so easy to talk to and learn from. I also had the chance to meet a few of the 2026 Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon pageant contestants and share our social media and phone numbers so we can keep in touch. It also made me realize how far I've come since last year's clinic attending as a participant and this year as a titleholder!
A week later I attended the Chief Joseph Days Royalty coronation in Joseph, Oregon. Joseph and Chief Joseph Days have a very special place in my heart. I've been attending this rodeo since I was 4 years old and my family has been attending since the very beginning. My grandfather and grandmother camped in the teepee village every year and it was my grandpa's favorite time of year. I attended the coronation with my sister, Happy Canyon Princess Avery Quaempts, and Princess Korie Spencer (also my cousin).
I attended the Round Up and Happy Canyon Tack and Trappings party to support my sister. It was so neat to see all of the girls receiving amazing gifts that they will use during their titles. It also made me look forward to when I can do this someday.
In my spare time I've also been running track and attending softball tournaments on the weekends I'm able to. I'm lucky to have a supportive softball coach that recognizes my title is my priority this year and is willing to work around my schedule. I'm excited for my chaps by Denise Stringfellow to arrive in the mail this week and can't wait to share a photo! Also a huge thank you to Taylor for donating her time to make my parade flowers!

With Love,

Fallyn Plume

Meet the 2026 Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant Contestants!

Congratulations to all the contestants who have been approved by the MRO Board!

All contestants are selling $5 raffle tickets for eight fantastic prizes:  Bob Roy picture frame with tooled leather, Twisted B Pendleton mirror, Empire Leather custom tooled leather purse, wine barrel dog bed (thanks, Keith Brownell), customized cow skull, rodeo-themed quilt, two Pendleton whisky bottle lamps, and a 75 Custom leather knife sheath (with knife).

Scholarship Fundraiser Rose Sales!

We had an overwhelming response to last year's contestant dahlia sales benefiting the Scholarship Fund.   Each contestant received flowers at the end of the day from friends or family with a note of encouragement.  This year, the flowers are ROSES, just like MRA!  Sweethearts will receive their flowers on Saturday at the Sweetheart Pageant.  Go to the MRO Store and order yours today!

Thank you, Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation sponsors!!
