Junior Miss Rodeo Oregon 2026 ~ Kieran Kossler

Kieran is 13 years old, currently in the 7th grade, and proud to call Prineville, Oregon home.

Kieran is highly active in 4-H, where she shows her horses Minx, Azzi, Smarty, Snap, and Samora, as well as a market swine. She also competes on the 4-H Shotgun and Archery teams. When she’s not busy with 4-H practices and activities, Kieran can be found competing in the Northwest Youth Rodeo Association or exploring new places with her family through geocaching.

With a deep passion for horses, Kieran participates in a wide range of disciplines, including vaulting, driving, dressage, show jumping, western performance, and working ranch horse events. In 2023, she adopted a wild mustang foal through the BLM and, with the guidance of a mentor, has taken on the challenge of gentling and training the once-untouchable filly. This year, she plans to showcase their progress by competing in the Rider-Trainer class at the County Horse Fair.

Looking ahead, Kieran plans to complete high school and pursue a degree in veterinary medicine or become an equine dentist. Her long-term goal is to own and operate her own horse breeding and training facility.
